How to kill and paint over mould.
Surface Preparation.
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from anything that will interfere with the adhesion of the materials to be applied. Remove loose material by scraping or brushing with a stiff bristle brush to a solid edge. Sand with a fine grade abrasive paper. Remove all visible signs of organic growth and treat the areas with Zinsser Mould Killer and allow to dry. Fill any cracks and small surface defects and sand with a fine grade abrasive paper.
Priming.
Prime all stained, bare and filled areas with one coat of Zinsser B-I-N® Primer Sealer.
Decoration.
Paint with two full coats of a washable anti mould paint to stop the re-growth of mould such as Zinsser Perma-White®.
